Welcome to English Martyrs’ Nursery!
Lifelong learning begins in our Nursery classroom at English Martyrs! Our Nursery team love to get to know the children well and help them become confident members of our school. In Nursery it is so important to learn new skills and knowledge, this is why we do a lot of learning through our play. We recognise that every child is unique at English Martyrs and we aim to foster their love of learning by building on their individual interests as well as their existing knowledge and skills. We value our strong partnership with families, ensuring each child’s needs are understood and catered for.
Our EYFS is well resourced and benefits from a spacious indoor learning area to our own outdoor Nursery garden. We are very proud of our nurturing and caring environment. We are a happy 52 place school-based Nursery for 3-4-year-old children. Miss Burrows is our Nursery teacher with Mrs Cairns being the support staff. We offer 15 and 30 hour places, our morning session is 8:45-11:45am and our afternoon session is 12:15-3:15pm. In Nursery we follow the Development Matters Framework which was published in 2023.
