Year 3 and Year 4 Hancock Museum
The children explored the different areas of the museum to find out more about Ice Age to Iron Age. The children looked at artefacts linked to the Egyptians and Ancient Greeks. Year 3 and Year 4 both also took part in a workshop linked to different animals to develop their understanding in Science.
Year 3 exploring the museum:
Year 4 had a wonderful time exploring the Hancock museum. They loved the Egyptian mummy and all of the wonderful animals in the natural history exhibit.
After lunch they put their classifying skills to the test with the help of some taxidermy!
